OUR CHORISTERS
The San Fernando Valley Youth Chorus is committed to fostering a love of music while nurturing the unique voice and confidence of every singer. We provide a welcoming, inclusive environment where young people can grow musically, build friendships, and experience the joy of performing together.
SFVYC is comprised of three ensembles designed to support singers at every stage:
Concert Choir
The SFVYC Concert Choir serves members currently in 6th to 12th grades. Vocal health, ear training, aural and sight reading skills are built into each rehearsal, fostering an environment of professionalism and music literacy. This ensemble is regularly invited to perform with professional instrumental and choral ensembles throughout the greater Los Angeles community and participates in regional choral music festivals and competitions.

The Sunshine Singers
Our youngest singers are introduced to the fundamentals of music through fun, engaging activities that build confidence, rhythm, and vocal skills.

The Harmonics
This ensemble continues developing vocal technique, musicianship, and ensemble singing while preparing for performances throughout the season.
